Welcome to our online application form. Now that you've read about our Graduate Scheme, it's time to tell us about you. We're looking for individuals who are keen to work in our commercial or operations functions and lead the industry on service delivery.

You'll need to be highly motivated, resilient and adaptable. Teamwork is important, as the work can be fast-paced and pressured. It won't always be a nine to five job as our supply chain is a 24/7 operation.
Minimum of a 2.2 degree required
Mobility throughout the UK is essential
You must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis
You must be willing to work shifts/nights as part of the programme
About you
Our recruitment process is designed to help us select the right people. Just as important, it will help you decide if Smiths News is right for you. We promise to be honest and open with you, because we want to make sure we are the right choice.
Once your application is received, we'll contact you within 21 days to advise whether you have been selected for the next round which will include a telephone interview. In the telephone interview we will be keen to hear about your enthusiasm for Smiths News and our scheme. We will ask you a series of competency based questions designed to assess your suitability for Smiths News and our graduate scheme, and your potential to excel in our business. Candidates who pass the telephone interview will be invited to attend an assessment centre. If successful, you'll be starting your new job with us in September.
Applications for our 2011 scheme will open on the 1st November 2010 and the closing date for the scheme is the 31st January 2010.
